Meet the 50-ton truck crane IVANOVETS КС-6577К-3

The company’s scientific and technological capacity and unique engineering style have resulted in the creation of a hi-tech crane unit with a five-section telescopic boom 35 m long, which allows for the maximum load moment of 185 tm. Due to a software suite developed for this truck crane, operation speed adapts to the current lifting operation, thus securing a high level of operational safety and efficiency.

A domestic mobile platform produced by PAO KAMAZ was selected for the КС-6577К-3 crane – cross-country chassis KAMAZ-6560 with axle configuration 8х8. It will let the truck crane not only travel by a prepared roadway surface, but also move about unprepared construction sites without traffic infrastructure. Besides, the service network of PAO KAMAZ carries a guaranty to the operating entities of a high level of technical support in regard to the KAMAZ-6560 chassis, which is good for the service reliability of the truck crane itself, too.

As a result of the efforts invested, a modern 50-ton truck crane will come into the Russian market at a reasonable price with high technical characteristics:

• its load moment of 185 tm is the highest among Russian cranes;
• its load chart is 15-20% better as compared with any Russian rival practically across the entire range;
• two hoist winches, with which mounted, the crane can travel by public roads within the customary transport dimension limits;
• fuel tankage amounts to 560 l in standard trim. That is quite sufficient to cover about 1200 km;
• a quick rope re-reeving system, providing for several-fold lesser time to change the operating configuration;
• a new crane cab, also developed in the frame of joint R&D effort with the Industry and Trade Ministry of the Russian Federation;
• video inspection of winch and, optionally, under-boom space, and much more.

Today, the AVTOKRAN Ivanovo Machinery Plant has held a presentation of a new truck crane model, КС-6577К-3, with a lifting capacity of 50 tons. The event was attended by Mr. Stanislav Voskresensky, governor of the Region of Ivanovo, Ms. Maria Yelkina, director, Department for Agricultural, Food and Road-Building Machinery, Industry and Trade Ministry of Russia, Mr. Igor Kulgan, director general of this plant, business partners and employees of AVTOKRAN IMP.

”Today, in the year of this plant’s seventieth anniversary, we are driving into the market an IVANOVETS truck crane of 50 tons in lifting capacity. It is going to be the leader of our product family, which has covered practically all the demand of the Russian market for truck cranes by lifting capacity today. The creation of this modern heavy-duty truck crane is clear evidence that the Ivanovo engineering school of thought does exist and develop, upholding its high reputation created by the earlier generations of Ivanovo machinery design engineers.

I should like to underline that our  50-ton truck crane   is not just a single model but an integrated investment project designated as “Truck-Mounted Cranes with a Lifting Capacity of 32 to 50 tons and a Unified Renovated Cab for Truck Cranes with a Lifting Capacity of 16 to 50 tons”, in the frame of which there was also made a 32-ton truck crane КС-55717К-1 and developed a new updated crane cab. We are sincerely grateful to the Industry and Trade Ministry of Russia, which supported our project at the research and development stage. Also, I’d like to note that this 50-tonner is not the first one in the plant’s history. The first one was manufactured 25 years ago. But the crane we are presenting today is surely a serious step forward in terms of the technologies and technical solutions applied”, said Mr. Igor Kulgan, AVTOKRAN IMP director general in the course of the presentation.

While implementing the project, special attention was given to the execution of the import substitution programme in the construction and road machinery industry and to the crane’s high industrial safety level at work sites as well.
